April, the 16th - Russian Orthodox Easter
We're happy to remind you that Russian Orthodox Easter (Russ.: Пасха [Paskha]) will be widely celebrated on this upcoming Sunday, on the 16th of April by the Orthodox Church, and especially by religious Russians and Ukrainians.
Preceded by Lenten Season, Orthodox Easter is considered to be the major religious holiday of the year, and is anticipated and cherished greatly. People start preparing for the holiday a week before the feast; they clean their houses, bake Easter bread and paint Easter eggs on Holy (Clean) Thursday. On the day of Easter people visit churches in the early morning, they come to see their relatives and friends, and treat each other to Easter bread and cakes, and colored eggs.
Therefore please, be advised not to forget to congratulate your favorite lady/ladies on this significant holiday. Your awareness and attention will be highly and sincerely appreciated by Russian and Ukrainian ladies. You are welcome to congratulate your lady by saying “Happy Easter!” on Sunday, the 16th of April, or you may also order a gift of our choice from our Gift Gallery to reveal your innermost feelings and expectancies for the lady on the special Day of Easter!
