January 7th – Orthodox Christmas in Slavic countries

While in Europe and Western World, Christmas is celebrated on December 25th, in Russia and Ukraine, Orthodox Christmas Day is January 7th (due to the calendar difference). According to the old tradition, Russian and Ukrainian singles celebrate this wonderful holiday after New Year. Even if your mate is not religious, it is always nice to send your warm Christmas wishes and show her that you respect her national traditions. A good gesture would be a virtual gift or a virtual card, which you can send from our gallery right away.
